Your Role
As Finance Manager, you are the central point of contact for financial follow-up, reporting, and analysis. You safeguard the reliability of our figures, support management in financial decision-making, and represent BlooLoc professionally towards banks and other financial stakeholders.
Daily accounting and invoicing remain part of the role, but the focus is on control, insight, cash flow, reporting, and the further professionalization of finance.
Your Responsibilities
- Reporting & analysis: prepare, review, and clearly explain periodic financial reports.
- Cash flow & working capital: monitor liquidity, payments, and outstanding items, and flag risks in a timely manner.
- Budgeting & forecasting: contribute to budgets, forecasts, and scenarios that support management decisions.
- Accounting governance: ensure accurate accounting, data quality, and appropriate internal controls.
- External stakeholders: prepare and support discussions with banks, accountants, auditors, and other financial parties.
- Process Improvement & Finance Governance: professionalize financial processes, reporting structures, and workflows. In addition, you ensure the correct application and follow-up of internal financial policies, procedures, and controls, and proactively identify and address any deviations where necessary.
Who You Are
- You have a mandatory finance-oriented higher education background at master’s level or equivalent academic level, such as Finance, Corporate Finance, Business Economics, Commercial Engineering, or Accountancy & Taxation.
- Your education and financial foundation enable you to grow towards an end-responsible finance role, such as CFO, over time.
- You have relevant experience in accounting, audit, controlling, corporate finance, or finance operations.
- You combine accuracy with analytical insight and strategic thinking.
- You communicate professionally with management, banks, and external financial stakeholders.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Experience with Odoo or another ERP system is a plus.
